The first semester of the second edition of the educational programme Play Green with Us!® has come to an end. Between September and mid-February, more than 800 lessons were delivered by teachers as part of the programme. Nearly 5,000 students participated in eco lessons, eco projects and eco competitions.

Climate reading

Polenergia is carrying out the Climate Reading campaign together with primary schools and kindergartens that are located near Polenergia Group's existing or planned investments. Climate reading aims to encourage pupils to read books, especially those dealing with nature and climate protection.

Nothing promotes learning more than having fun. That is why Polenergia encourages all the Schools that are involved in the Play Green with Us!® project to organise interesting eco-contests and eco-projects. Strzelino PF

Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm (Polenergia Obrót 2 Sp. z o.o.) will be located in the village of Strzelino, Słupsk Commune, Słupsk Poviat, Pomeranian Voivodeship. The project received the necessary corporate approvals at the end of 2022 and is currently in the phase of direct preparation for construction. A contract was signed with the contractor for installation and assembly works. The supplier of photovoltaic modules, inverters and the Contract Engineer were selected. Start of construction works is planned for the beginning of March 2023. The estimated completion date of construction is planned for December 2023. Total capacity of the farm will be 45.15 MWp.

Świebodzin I & II PF

In December 2021, the subsidiary Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Olbrachcice sp. Z o.o. developing a portfolio of Świebodzin I photovoltaic farm projects with a total capacity of 10.5 MW, successfully participated in the auction for the sale of energy from renewable energy sources.

Subsidiary Polenergia Farma Fotowoltaiczna 12 sp. z o.o. developing a portfolio of Świebodzin II photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 10.5 MWp, obtained a construction permit. The final decision concerning the implementation of the Świebodzin I and Świebodzin II photovoltaic farms projects has been postponed for several months, the final decision will be made around mid-2023.

The Group is working on the further development of wind and photovoltaic projects. Currently, the Group's portfolio includes photovoltaic projects (in addition to those mentioned above) and wind (onshore) projects at a less advanced stage, with a total capacity of more than 1.3 GW.

Szprotawa PF

Szprotawa Photovoltaic Farm (Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Namysłów Sp. z o.o.) will be located in Szprotawa Commune, Żagań Poviat, Lubusz Voivodeship. The project will consist of 4 photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 47 MWp together with the necessary technical infrastructure. The Group plans to conclude key project contracts in the second half of 2023, subject to obtaining corporate approvals required for the implementation of these projects. The planned commencement date is the second half of 2023. The project is expected to be commissioned in the first half of 2024.

Educational project Graj z nami w zielone!®

Polenergia Group is implementing the project Graj z nami w zielone!® in collaboration with many educational institutions located wherever Polenergia projects are constructed and operate. The invited primary schools and kindergartens organise eco-lessons which address issues related to waste segregation and circular economy, water management and renewable energy sources.
