Key information

Skurpie Wind Farm is located in Płośnica Municipality, Działdowo Poviat, Warmian–Masurian Voivodeship. Skurpie WF was put into operation in 2015. Skurpie WF includes 19 Siemens SWT- 2.3 – 108 wind turbines with tower height of 115 m and rotor diameter of 108 m, a main electrical substation and underground transmission line infrastructure. Total capacity of Skurpie WF is 43.7 MW.

Skurpie WF is operated by Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa 4 Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by Polenergia.

Benefits of the Project

  • Electricity generation

According to information from the investor, it is assumed that the annual electricity generation at Skurpie WF Project will be approximately 117,191 MWh.

Social impact

The Project increases the Municipality’s revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.

Educational activities supported by Polenergia Group

Polenergia is involved in educational activities for ecology and climate protection in the area of Skurpie WF. 3 Primary Schools have joined the project Graj z nami w zielone!® in Płośnica Municipality. Under the programme, lessons on water protection, waste segregation and renewable energy sources are organised.
