Gawłowice Wind Farm (Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa 1 Sp. z o.o.) is located in Radzyń Chełmiński Municipality, Grudziądz Poviat, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The construction works carried out in two stages were completed in 2015.
Gawłowice WF Project includes 18 Siemens SWT- 2.3 wind turbines with tower height of 115 metres and rotor diameter of 108 metres, a main electrical substation, underground transmission line infrastructure. In 2015, the farm was expanded by 3 more turbines of this type, ultimately increasing its capacity to 48 MW.
The owner of Gawłowice WF is Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa 1 Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by Polenergia Group.
Annual electricity generation at Gawłowice WF Project is approximately 141,419 MWh.
The Project increases the Municipality’s revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.
Polenergia supports educational activities in the Municipality through the implementation of a project for climate and environmental protection – Graj z nami w zielone!® – at the Primary School in Radzyń Chełmiński.
Charitable activities are carried out for the benefit of the most deprived residents of the Municipality in cooperation with active associations.
Gawłowice WF has all necessary permits to operate in compliance with environmental regulations.
