The Silesian-Lesser Polish Hydrogen Valley was established in January 2022 by 20 companies, universities and institutions. The Chamber of Industrial Energy and Energy Recipients (IEPiOE) is a self-regulatory organization of businesses that generate, transmit, trade and receive electricity and heat. The main goal of the Chamber is to improve the competitive position of its Members by reducing costs of acquiring and using energy.

Our membership in the Polish-German Chamber of Trade and Commerce allows us to initiate and develop business contacts and exchange experience with German companies.

In 2021, Polenergia was accepted to the Hydrogen Europe organization associating the major companies supplying and implementing hydrogen technologies in Europe and globally. Membership in Hydrogen Europe will allow Polenergia to participate in the creation of a hydrogen market by establishing new, resilient business relationships. The activity in HE involves the development of postulates in key development areas of hydrogen power, not only on the domestic market but also in Europe. It also offers access to knowledge resources on technologies and on the business aspects of developing hydrogen projects.

In October 2021, the Ministry of Climate and Environment, local governments, businesses and scientists signed the sector deal for the development of the hydrogen economy. Polenergia could not have passed up the opportunity to be a signatory, because for the Polenergia Group hydrogen is the technology of tomorrow and an opportunity to accelerate Poland’s green transition.

On 15 September 2021, Polenergia signed the Polish Offshore Wind Sector Deal. The overriding purpose of this deal is to support the development of this sector in Poland and to maximize the “local content”, that is the role of Polish businesses in the supply chain for offshore wind farms built in the Polish exclusive economic zone.
