The Szymankowo Wind Farm is one of Polenergia’s two RES projects currently being built.
The farm is located in the Miłoradz township in Pomorskie Voivodeship. The Szymankowo Wind Farm will be composed of 11 wind turbines with the total capacity of 38 MW.
The Szymankowo Wind Farm will make it possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approx. 104,192 tons of CO2 annually.
The construction started by the end of March. All foundations and maneuver areas have already been completed. This week deliveries of different components of the wind power plant to the construction site are starting, including, among others, towers from GSG Towers’ factory in Gdańsk. The project is executed with PBDI, Siemens Gamesa and Bilfinger.
The project is financed from the company’s own funds and a bank loan granted by EBRD, mBank S.A. and ING Polska.
