From September to November, we are organising a series of webinars with experts who will show teachers, educators and also caregivers how to introduce young people to issues related to sustainability in a broad sense in an interesting way.
On 19 and 26 September the following webinars took place: “Water for health. Green challenges for children in early childhood education (grades 1-3)” and “Water for health. Green challenges for children and youth in grades 4-8”. More than 200 teachers signed up to take part in the meetings.
The webinars were led by experts: Elżbieta Wołoszyńska-Wiśniewska (UNEP/GRID-Warszawa) and teachers Jakub Sypniewski and Kinga Kołodziejczyk. The presenters, selected by our project partner UNEP/GRID Warszawa, prepared presentations detailing water conservation problems and showed interesting suggestions for working with children based on the workbooks Play Green with Us!®
The next meetings will take place in October (waste reduction) and November (Renewable Energy Sources).
