Protection of birds and bats – Rajgród Wind Farm

In 2017, the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Białystok (Department of Land Matters in Łomża), having examined the report for 2016, did not present any remarks on the proposed solutions regarding the monitoring in the subsequent years. In 2018, the last cycle of the study on the farm’s impact on bats and birds was carried out. The study did not show an elevated level of mortality in these groups of animals. The final report containing a summary of the 3-year monitoring exercise was presented to the environmental protection authorities in 2019. In June, the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Białystok approved the post-construction analysis.
