Szymankowo Wind Farm is located in the vicinity of the villages of Gnojewo, Stara Kościelnica, Miłoradz and Bystrze in Miłoradz Municipality, Malbork Poviat, Pomeranian Voivodeship. Szymankowo WF is owned by Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Szymankowo Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by Polenergia.
Annual electricity generation at Szymankowo WF Project will be approximately 106,443 MWh.
The Project is implemented on the area of Miłoradz Municipality. The Project will increase the Municipalities’ revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.
Polenergia is heavily involved in educational activities in the area of the Szymankowo Wind Farm. Two Primary Schools are taking part in the environmental project Graj z nami w zielone!®, under which an environmental art competition was organised in November/December 2022.
Charitable activities in Miłoradz Municipality are carried out in cooperation with the Miłoradz Municipality Cultural and Sports Centre.
Szymankowo WF has all necessary permits to operate in compliance with environmental regulations.
