The Project increases the Municipality’s revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.

The implementation of Grabowo WF did not require resettlement of people or businesses. Land for the Project implementation was obtained on the basis of lease agreements signed with landowners.

Grabowo WF has a direct social and economic impact on the development of all municipalities and residents involved. The following areas of direct impact have been identified:

  • Higher municipal tax revenue

  • Higher annual income of land tenants

  • Better local transport routes.

The negative impact is related to a reduction in the area of land used for farming; however, it will be offset by land lease payments.
