The ongoing investment will increase the municipality’s income from taxes paid by the Company, and owners of land occupied by the wind farm and associated infrastructure will receive benefits related to land lease agreements or easements.
Project implementation did not and will not require resettlement of people or businesses, and there has been no loss of income. Land for the Project implementation was obtained on the basis of lease agreements signed with landowners following mutual arrangements.
Dębsk WF has a direct social and economic impact on the development of all municipalities and residents involved. The following areas of direct impact have been identified:
Higher municipal tax revenue
Higher annual income of land tenants
Better local transport routes
The negative impact of the Wind Farm is related to the reduction of agricultural areas. However, it has been offset by land lease payments.
