Social impact

The Project is located in Kostomłoty Municipality, Środa Wielkopolska Poviat. The Project will increase the Municipality’s revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.

The Project did not require resettlement of people or businesses – no physical or economic resettlement has taken place or will take place, and there has been no loss of livelihoods. Land for the Project implementation was obtained on the basis of lease agreements signed with landowners following mutual arrangements.

The Project has a direct social and economic impact on the development of all municipalities and residents involved. The following areas of direct impact have been identified:

The negative impact is related to a reduction in the area of land used for farming; however, it is offset by land lease payments. The usable area of wind farms and infrastructure is limited and the land surrounding the turbines can be used for farming.
