In 2020, volunteers of Szlachetna Paczka (‘Noble Gift’) and the Polenergia Group joined the group of people preparing gifts for the poorest and the most needy, most strongly affected by the year and the pandemic.
The volunteers and the fundraising campaigns were also supported by companies which purchased additional objects of higher value requested by the poor (laptops, brown and white goods, etc.).
Polenergia Nowa Sarzyna Cogeneration Plant (NSCP) – supported activities of volunteers who selected a family from Leżajsk, from the area of the cogeneration plant;
Polenergia Obrót S.A. supported volunteers and was able to prepare 10 packages for the needy from the area of Ostróda.
The Szymankowo Polenergia Wind Farm helped a Family from Miłoradz – the township where the wind farm is located. In that case, the volunteers were employees of Polenergia but also employees of the companies taking part in the construction of the wind farm, namely: Siemens-Gamesa (SGRE), GWS and BMS, PBDI and Bilfinger Tebodin.
