Our company applies transparent principles for remuneration and the granting of additional benefits. These take into account both individual employee contributions and team performance. The principles are set out in internal regulations, including the Work Regulations, Remuneration Regulations, and the Annual Performance Review System.
Employees are subject to an annual performance and development review, during which objectives are summarized and directions for further development are planned. This process forms the basis for granting annual bonuses and planning development activities. Employee meetings are held on a regular basis and include both goal reviews and separate meetings dedicated to competency development.

The majority of employees of the Group are employed under employment contracts. In Polenergia Fotowoltaika, due to the implementation of specific projects and services, a significant portion of cooperation is based on mandate contracts and B2B contracts.
Notice periods for employment contracts within the Polenergia Group comply with the provisions of the Polish Labour Code and are as follows:
Employee development is one of the key elements of building our competitive advantage. We support skills development through training sessions, webinars, and development events, available to all employees as well as those designed specifically for our leadership team.
In 2025, we delivered training sessions and development initiatives covering areas such as communication, customer service, cybersecurity, analytical tools, negotiations, change management, diversity, as well as team development and leadership competencies. Some of these initiatives were conducted by internal HR and IT teams.
In addition, all employees participate in mandatory e-learning training courses, covering topics such as anti-mobbing, personal data protection, compliance, and anti-corruption. These courses are delivered via our dedicated e-learning platform.
The average satisfaction rating of training participants in 2025 was 4.8 on a scale of 1–5, and 4.7 for webinars. This is an excellent result.

In 2025, Polenergia implemented a number of educational projects aimed not only at knowledge transfer but also at shaping pro-environmental attitudes. Environmental and climate education plays an important role in building social responsibility and therefore constitutes one of the key priorities of the Polenergia Group.
At Polenergia Group, the safety of employees and all individuals involved in project implementation remains a key priority. The company’s activities consistently focus on minimizing risks and strengthening emergency response systems.
For many years, Polenergia has been actively engaged in initiatives that provide tangible support to local communities, strengthen social cohesion, and foster a culture of cooperation. These activities are carried out under the Social Engagement Policy of the Polenergia Group in all locations where the Group develops or operates its projects. We support, among others, educational, environmental, and cultural initiatives. This year, once again, we had the pleasure of supporting the organization of numerous Christmas events in municipalities where we develop or operate our projects.
Polenergia has for years been engaged in projects that genuinely support local communities, strengthen social bonds, and build a culture of cooperation.
In November, the final of the 3rd Inter-School Eco-Logical OZE Omnibus took place — a competition organized for primary school students from the Town and Municipality of Pelplin. Once again, Polenergia was a partner of the event, supporting educational initiatives related to renewable energy sources and environmental protection.
The 2025 season marked another stage in Polenergia Group’s active protection of the Meadow Harrier, a programme that has been continuously implemented since 2014. The activities were carried out in the areas of five wind farms, in cooperation with experienced ornithologists and local farmers managing crops in the vicinity of the farms.
From May to August, Polenergia actively participated in key events for local communities, such as municipal harvest festivals, traditional “Dożynki” celebrations, and family picnics. These gatherings provided opportunities for collective celebration, exchange of experiences, learning, and community integration.
From the beginning of April until the end of June, Polenergia employees took part in the POWER UP! sports challenge, competing and motivating each other along the way. For the third year in a row, Polenergia converted their kilometers, steps, and even workout time into a financial donation of PLN 30,000 to support the CukierAsy Association!
The results of the “ESG Ranking. Responsible Management” (formerly the Responsible Companies Ranking) were announced during a gala held on June 10th, as part of the jubilee conference of the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) titled “Business Transformation – Future Scenarios.”
Polenergia has published its second sustainability report prepared in accordance with the CSRD directive, the EU regulation establishing ESG reporting standards. While this requirement will formally apply to the company starting next year or even 2028 if new EU regulations are implemented, Polenergia is already in compliance. The company’s 2024 report has been positively assessed by an independent auditor.
More than 30 participants took part in the recently concluded second edition of the ESG Leaders Academy, organized by the Lesław A. Paga Foundation. Once again, Polenergia served as the strategic partner of this initiative.

Actions for environmental and climate education have a significant impact on shaping responsible attitudes in society.
The year 2024 was an important period for offshore wind energy in Poland, including the projects developed by Equinor and Polenergia. The Companies obtained a set of permits for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 projects, both of which will enter the construction phase this year, and prepared the Bałtyk 1 project, the largest planned offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic, for the auction in 2025.
In the Polenergia Group, the safety of employees and all individuals involved in the Group’s projects is treated as a top priority. In 2024, Polenergia organized training exercises with the State Fire Service (PSP) and Volunteer Fire Service (OSP). The purpose of these exercises was to familiarize firefighters with the hazards encountered during high-altitude rescue operations and to enhance the principles of using specialized equipment.
1400 students from seven secondary schools in regions related to the Baltic offshore wind farm projects took part in the next, third edition of “One sea, many benefits. Offshore wind energy in my region” project. The organizers were investors – Polenergia and Equinor. The project introduces students to the offshore sector and the new career opportunities it creates.
Dozens of Polish companies interested in participating in the implementation of the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms took part in the Supplier’s Day held in Gdansk. The event was organized by Equinor and Polenergia, which jointly implement the Bałtyk offshore wind farm projects, as well as major suppliers of inter-array and export cables. The purpose of the Supplier’s Day is to get Polish contractors into the offshore wind market and integrate them into the global supply chain.
On September 7th and 8th, the Harvest Festival of the Redzikowo Commune and the Słupsk County took place in Swołowo. The stand of Equinor and Polenergia was widely popular among the region’s residents. The companies once again had the opportunity to introduce the local community to offshore wind energy.
Hundreds of Łeba residents and tourists from all over Poland visited the stand of Polenergia and Equinor during the Łeba Festival. Visitors could learn more about offshore wind energy and take advantage of numerous attractions prepared by investors of offshore wind farms Bałtyk. Together with the residents, representatives of the companies marched through the streets of the city in the march of the Duchy of Łeba.
In April 2024, the Polenergia Group launched a new employee volunteer grant program called WE HAVE THE POWER!
From April 6th 2024 until the end of June, employees of Polenergia competed and motivated each other in the sports challenge POWER UP! Their kilometers, steps, and even exercise time were converted by Polenergia into a donation of 30,000 PLN in support of the CukierAsy Association!
Nearly 3000 pupils from 11 primary schools took part in an educational project run by Equinor and Polenergia in the Słupsk region. The aim of the investors’ campaign is to spread knowledge about offshore wind energy and the resulting benefits for the climate and the region among the youngest. Equinor and Polenergia jointly develop three wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of up to 3,000 MW.
On 25 May 2024, the first employee volunteer event in the series MAMY MOC! – Eco Rafting on the Liwiec River. The event was attended by 55 Volunteers in 35 canoes, who combined physical activity with an ecological mission and mutual integration.
The Pelplin Town and Commune Office, in cooperation with primary schools in the Pelplin Commune and the Polenergia Group, organized an ecological Olympiad for primary school students from the Pelplin Commune.
From April 14th to 16th, the largest hydrogen fair in Poland, H2Poland, took place in Poznań.
Actions aimed at local communities play an incredibly important role in the activities of the Polenergia Group. Our responsibility goes beyond just business; it extends to caring for the community and the environment. As part of our employee volunteering program, on October 7th, over 30 employees, along with their families, gathered in the Praga district of Warsaw to support the Otwarte Drzwi Association.
In recent years, sustainability has been gaining more and more attention around the world. Developing societies are looking for increasingly ecological ways of obtaining energy to reduce the negative impact on the natural environment.
On May 31, 2023, employees of Polenergia Fotowoltaika could come to work with their children and celebrate Children’s Day together in the office.
Several thousand people – primary and high school students – visited the Equinor and Polenergia stand at the first EDU Offshore Wind Career Fair, held in Gdansk on March 14-15. This is a good sign, proving that the offshore wind industry and our Bałtyk projects can be an attractive place for them to work.

The Polenergia Group, together with Equinor, Rumia Municipality and Rumia Invest Park signed a Letter of Intent on the plan to cooperate as part of the Pomerania Offshore Wind Energy Competence Centre. The parties declare their desire to reinforce the labour market necessary for efficient development of wind energy at the Baltic Sea.
Tens of thousands of specialists will be employed in offshore wind farm projects in the Baltic Sea. Employers who are looking for qualified staff presented students with a wide range of professional opportunities during the Offshore Career Day 2022 Catch the Big Fish! The stand of Polenergia and Equinor was visited by several hundred people interested in a career offshore.
The Polenergia Group notices the need for educating the energy sector staff and supplementing the knowledge acquired by students at higher education institutions with the practical experience they can obtain during apprenticeships in its companies.
Guided by the best practices and the intention to educate the future staff in the energy sector, Polenergia Nowa Sarzyna Cogeneration Plant has been organizing free student internships and apprenticeships and enabling demonstrations of the operation of a steam and gas unit, in particular for students of technical schools and universities for many years.
Polenergia, in line with its CSR strategy, is educating the energy sector’s future workforce. For the third time, we were a Partner of the Energy Academy conducted by the L. Pagi, and for the second time a Strategic Partner of the event.
Polenergia engages in cooperation with numerous scientific centers to facilitate cooperation and flow of knowledge and experience between science and business. Polenergia has signed agreements with the Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Gdansk and has assumed patronage of a two-semester postgraduate course “Education for Sustainable Development: offshore wind energy”.
This is the world’s second Sectoral Agreement between representatives of government, investors, entrepreneurs interested in creating a local supply chain, academic and research entities and other industry players.
Since November 2019 Polenergia and Equinor have collaborated with the Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) and the Polish Offshore Wind Energy Society (PTMEW) in running university programs for the future offshore wind energy sector staff.

The 2020 employee satisfaction survey assessed the organization of remote working during the pandemic as very good. As many as 72% of female and male employees assessed it very positively.
13 December officially marked the end of this year’s Energy Academy. This is one of the flagship programs of the Lesław A. Paga Foundation, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
