The 2024 season of the Active Meadow Harrier Protection Programme, run by Polenergia's Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Department, marked another success in conservation efforts for this unique species.
1400 students from seven secondary schools in regions related to the Baltic offshore wind farm projects took part in the next, third edition of "One sea, many benefits. Offshore wind energy in my region" project. The organizers were investors – Polenergia and Equinor. The project introduces students to the offshore sector and the new career opportunities it creates.
Dozens of Polish companies interested in participating in the implementation of the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms took part in the Supplier's Day held in Gdansk. The event was organized by Equinor and Polenergia, which jointly implement the Bałtyk offshore wind farm projects, as well as major suppliers of inter-array and export cables. The purpose of the Supplier's Day is to get Polish contractors into the offshore wind market and integrate them into the global supply chain.
The Polenergia Group is actively involved in and supports the organization of various municipal events that are significant to local communities. We strive to be present at family festivals, picnics, harvest festivals, and municipal celebrations. During these events, schools organize ecological games and activities at the Play Green with Us!® booths, promoting environmental education throughout the municipality.
On September 7th and 8th, the Harvest Festival of the Redzikowo Commune and the Słupsk County took place in Swołowo. The stand of Equinor and Polenergia was widely popular among the region's residents. The companies once again had the opportunity to introduce the local community to offshore wind energy.

Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm (Polenergia Obrót 2 Sp. z o.o.) will be located in the village of Strzelino, Słupsk Commune, Słupsk Poviat, Pomeranian Voivodeship. The project received the necessary corporate approvals at the end of 2022 and is currently in the phase of direct preparation for construction. A contract was signed with the contractor for installation and assembly works. The supplier of photovoltaic modules, inverters and the Contract Engineer were selected. Start of construction works is planned for the beginning of March 2023. The estimated completion date of construction is planned for December 2023. Total capacity of the farm will be 45.15 MWp.

In December 2021, the subsidiary Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Olbrachcice sp. Z o.o. developing a portfolio of Świebodzin I photovoltaic farm projects with a total capacity of 10.5 MW, successfully participated in the auction for the sale of energy from renewable energy sources.
Subsidiary Polenergia Farma Fotowoltaiczna 12 sp. z o.o. developing a portfolio of Świebodzin II photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 10.5 MWp, obtained a construction permit. The final decision concerning the implementation of the Świebodzin I and Świebodzin II photovoltaic farms projects has been postponed for several months, the final decision will be made around mid-2023.
The Group is working on the further development of wind and photovoltaic projects. Currently, the Group's portfolio includes photovoltaic projects (in addition to those mentioned above) and wind (onshore) projects at a less advanced stage, with a total capacity of more than 1.3 GW.

Szprotawa I Photovoltaic Farm (Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Namysłów sp. z o.o.) will be located in the Szprotawa and Niegosławice municipalities in the Żagań County in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The project will consist of 4 photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 47 MWp along with necessary technical infrastructure. The commissioning of the Szprotawa I Photovoltaic Farm is planned for the first half of 2025. The Szprotawa II Photovoltaic Farm (Polenergia Farma Fotowoltaiczna 16 sp. z o.o.) will be located in the Szprotawa municipality in the Żagań County in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The capacity of the photovoltaic installation will be 20 MWp. The commissioning of the Szprotawa II Photovoltaic Farm is planned for the first half of 2025.
