Supporting the Organization of Christmas Events in Local Municipalities

For many years, Polenergia has been actively engaged in initiatives that provide tangible support to local communities, strengthen social cohesion, and foster a culture of cooperation. These activities are carried out under the Social Engagement Policy of the Polenergia Group in all locations where the Group develops or operates its projects. We support, among others, educational, environmental, and cultural initiatives. This year, once again, we had the pleasure of supporting the organization of numerous Christmas events in municipalities where we develop or operate our projects.

Our support included, among others, St. Nicholas Day celebrations for children and youth; gingerbread baking workshops; communal carol singing; Christmas Eve gatherings for rural women’s associations and senior citizens; as well as Christmas concerts and nativity plays.

The events were attended by local communities from the municipalities of Rajgród, Miłoradz, Puck, Wysokie, Kalinowo, Kostomłoty, Sulechów, Pelplin, Żuromin, Niegosławice, Krzęcin, Gryfice, and Namysłów. Thanks to the involvement of our company, children and adults from these regions were able to experience the festive spirit and enjoy a unique, shared atmosphere. As part of the holiday initiatives, the youngest participants received gifts sponsored by Polenergia. Children’s smiles, the joy of the gatherings, and shared celebrations filled the hearts of all those people.

For years, Polenergia has been committed to activities that support local communities. Supporting the organization of Christmas events is not only a form of appreciation, but also an opportunity to build close and lasting relationships with local residents who value our engagement. We believe that such initiatives contribute to strengthening long-term social bonds and promoting the common good.

An integral part of the initiative was also a competition for an ecological Christmas decoration, carried out as part of Polenergia’s educational program Play Green with Us! ^® The aim of the competition was to inspire children to creatively use natural and recycled materials. The final took place with the participation of the Director of the Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Department, ESG Coordinator at Polenergia – Marta Porzuczek.

Polenergia’s social engagement means real actions and real impact. We want to be close to where initiatives important to residents of the areas, in which we develop our projects, are created. What is important to our neighbors is equally important to us – this is how we understand responsible business, and this is how the Polenergia Group operates. Thank you for the invitation to participate in the unique initiative “Gingerbread tradition – integration through taste”, implemented in the Municipality of Żuromin, as well as for the opportunity to support inspiring ecological competitions organized by the Żuromin Cultural Center. We believe that activities created for people and together with them have the greatest value. That is why we are even more pleased that we can act together.
