Minimum Safeguards are part of the EU Taxonomy. Due to the subject of due diligence in the field of human rights in the regulations concerning non-financial companies, there is a need to comprehensively regulate the issue of due diligence processes.
The Polenergia Group conducted a multi-level update of its approach in this regard back in 2022, and since then, we have been monitoring this area. From May to August of this year, the Group reviewed the implementation of its previous ESG strategy. As part of this process, the achievement of ESG goals was assessed, and a comprehensive double materiality assessment was conducted, involving individuals responsible for key projects and business processes within the company.
Through a double materiality assessment, we identified significant impacts that are crucial to the Group’s operations. Based on the results of the double materiality assessment, including risk and opportunity analysis, Polenergia has established ESG targets for 2025-2030, with an ambition to reach them by 2035.
Polenergia’s activities are focused on enhancing social and environmental responsibility, which forms the foundation of the Group’s development strategy and complements its business strategy.
