Number of households potentially supplied with electricity from the farm
Rajgród Wind Farm is located in Rajgród Municipality, Grajewo Poviat, Podlasie Voivodeship. Rajgród WF was put into operation in 2014. Rajgród WF includes 11 Siemens SWT- 2.3 – 108 wind turbines with tower height of 115 m and rotor diameter of 108 m, a main electrical substation, underground transmission line infrastructure, as well as access roads to each turbine. Total capacity of Rajgród WF is 25.3 MW.
Rajgród WF is owned by Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa 6 Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by Polenergia.
According to information from the investor, it is assumed that the annual electricity generation at Rajgród WF Project will be approximately 65,150 MWh.
The Project will increase the Municipalities’ revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.
Educational activities in the area of Rajgród WF are being implemented through the organisation of classes on climate and environmental protection as part of Polenergia’s project Graj z nami w zielone!® at the Primary Schools in Rajgród and Rydzewo.
Polenergia supports activities for children, women and residents of Rajgród Municipality by financing the activities of the Country Housewives’ Associations and the Primary School.
Rajgród WF has all necessary permits to operate in compliance with environmental regulations.
