Mycielin Wind Farm is located in the vicinity of the villages of Mycielin, Gościelin, Gościeszowice, Długie, Dzikowice and Sucha Dolna in Niegosławice and Szprotawa Municipalities, Żagań Poviat, Lubusz Voivodeship.
Mycielin WF was built in 2015 and received its operating permit in February 2016. It consists of 23 Vestas V110-2.0 MW turbines, each 125 m high and with rotor diameter of 110 m. Total installed capacity of the facility is 46 MW.
The farm is operated by Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Mycielin Sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle wholly-owned by Polenergia Group.
Annual electricity generation at Mycielin WF Project is approximately 146,824 MWh.
The Project will increase the Municipalities’ revenue from taxes paid by the Company, and the owners of the land on which the wind farm and associated infrastructure are located will receive benefits from land lease or easement agreements.
Polenergia is involved in educational activities at Primary Schools in Przecław and Gościeszowice through the implementation of the environmental project Graj z nami w zielone!®. In addition, the Company supports the activities of the above-mentioned institutions by financing the purchase of appropriate equipment or educational materials.
Charitable activities are carried out e.g. in cooperation with Niegosławice Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Country Housewives’ Associations. They are aimed at supporting the development of children and youth and activating the local community to act for the benefit of all municipality residents.
Mycielin WF has all necessary permits to operate in compliance with environmental regulations.
