The administrative procedure for issuing the decision on environmental conditions for Buk I was conducted by the competent authorities, i.e. the Mayor of Buk Municipality and Town. In the course of the administrative procedure, the State Sanitary Inspector, the National Water Management Holding Polish Waters and the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) in Poznań were consulted. It was determined that there was no need to carry out environmental impact assessment for the planned Project.
The procedure ended with the issuance of a decision on environmental conditions (document ref. No. IP.6220.24.2018 issued on 28 November 2018) permitting the construction and installation of nine photovoltaic farms with a capacity of up to 1 MW each, including the necessary technical infrastructure and staging. The Project also received the necessary building permits. Construction works are scheduled to start in August 2021.
According to the EIA report, taking into account monitoring observations, the planned project was found to be of low importance from an ornithological point of view.
The EIA report shows that the area has a low diversity of chiropterofauna species. At least 3 species were located in the project area: Myotis myotis, Eptesicus serotinus, Pipistrellus pipistrellus.
