Buk I Photovoltaic Farm Project was implemented by the special purpose vehicle Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Rudniki Sp. z o.o. Buk I.
It is located in the Wielka Wieś village precinct, Buk Municipality, Poznań Poviat, Greater Poland Voivodeship.
Buk I Project will consist of seven photovoltaic farms with a capacity of up to 1 MW each, with the necessary technical infrastructure.
The total capacity of the farms will be 6.44 MWp.
Therefore, the environmental benefit of the Project will be a reduction in annual greenhouse gas emissions of up to about 72,080 tons of CO2 (calculated on the basis of emission factors per MWh provided by the NOBiZE for 2017).
The Project did not require resettlement of people or businesses – no physical or economic resettlement has taken place or will take place, and there has been no loss of livelihoods. Land for the Project implementation was obtained on the basis of lease agreements signed with landowners following mutual arrangements.
The administrative procedure for issuing an environmental decision for Buk I was carried out by the competent authorities, i.e. the Mayor of Buk Municipality and City. In the course of the administrative procedure, the State Sanitary Inspector, the State Water Management Company (Państwowe Gospodarstwo Wodne Wody Polskie) and the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) in Poznań were asked for their opinion in the proceedings in question. It was found that there was no need to conduct an environmental impact assessment for the planned project.
FF Buk I has all permits necessary to operate with environmental regulations.
