From May to August, Polenergia actively participated in key events for local communities, such as municipal harvest festivals, traditional “Dożynki” celebrations, and family picnics. These gatherings provided opportunities for collective celebration, exchange of experiences, learning, and community integration.
To combine education with entertainment, Polenergia offered participants the opportunity to take part in educational activities at the Play Green with Us!® eco stands. Children, teenagers, and adults expanded their knowledge about nature and climate. They could experience how a wind tunnel works, build a wind turbine model from blocks, create their own perfumes, and play an engaging game that combined fun with learning about waste segregation.
In addition, attendees could enjoy various attractions such as activities with animators, a reading contest, a field game, family quizzes, inflatable slides, and fire brigade demonstrations. Members of local rural women’s associations prepared delicious refreshments and healthy beverages.
The family picnics took place in the municipalities of Żuromin, Żarów, Niegosławice, Rajgród, Grabowo, Płośnica, Pelplin, and Nowa Sarzyna. The educational stands located there attracted great interest. Both children and adults joined us in playing green to learn how to protect nature and counteract climate change.
