The Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm was developed by Polenergia Obrót 2 sp. z o.o., a company 100% owned by the Polenergia Group. After the construction was completed, the company changed its name to Polenergia Farma Fotowoltaiczna Strzelino sp. z o.o. The farm is located near Strzelino, in the Słupsk municipality, Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm is the second-largest photovoltaic farm in the history of the Polenergia Group. It is located near Strzelino in the Słupsk municipality, Słupsk
County, Pomeranian Voivodeship. With a capacity of 45.2 MWp, the farm can supply green energy to 24,000 households. Thanks to the commissioning of FF Strzelino, Polenergia’s renewable energy generation capacity has reached 574 MW.
As part of the Polenergia Group’s Biodiversity Strategy, the company implements initiatives to protect biodiversity. In cooperation with the Ustka Forest District and environmental experts, nesting sites for birds of prey have been installed. Additionally, 1.3 hectares of flower meadow with 22 plant species were sown within the Strzelino Photovoltaic Farm, and 2,205 shrubs were planted, including hawthorn, blackthorn, wild rose, and sea buckthorn. A biotope made of pebbles and erratic boulders was also created, serving as a habitat for reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals.
