Construction began in March 2020 and it was completed in February 2021. The works included the construction of foundations with a diameter of 20 metres. 70 tonnes of reinforcement and 530 m3 of concrete were used for the foundations of each turbine. GSG Towers from the factory in Gdańsk were set up. The turbines were supplied by Siemens Gamesa. Tower installation was divided into two stages. First, a crane assembled the first tower sections, and then the main crane installed the next four tower sections, the nacelle and the three blades separately.
The project is financed from Polenergia’s own funds and from a bank loan from EBRD, mBank S.A. and ING Polska.
