Free online meetings are the subsequent stage of the Play green with us!® educational project. The action commenced in spring this year with publishing three textbooks for educational classes intended for teachers and educators at the elementary school level. The webinars planned in September, October and November are directly associated with the scenarios described in our eco-notebooks and games, thanks to which the students will familiarise themselves with environmental and climate protection, learn about the Renewable Energy Sources and how to protect water resources, what is the circular economy and how to manage waste.
The first of six webinars will be held on 19 September. The meetings will be moderated by the UNEP/GRID-Warszawa experts with many years of experience in preparing participants for working with children and young people in the field of environmental protection and climate change, as well as active teachers – practitioners, who will share their perspective on how best to implement climate education in the reality of Polish school The webinars are diversified in terms of educated age groups: for classes 1-3 and 4-8.
