Polenergia for Safety: Supporting the State and Volunteer Fire Services in 2025

At Polenergia Group, the safety of employees and all individuals involved in project implementation remains a key priority. The company’s activities consistently focus on minimizing risks and strengthening emergency response systems.

In July and August 2025, Polenergia conducted emergency response exercises with the participation of the State Fire Service at the Łukaszów and Gawłowice wind farms. The exercises aimed to enhance cooperation between rescue services and to familiarize firefighters with the specific characteristics of wind turbine operations. As in previous training sessions, the scenarios were tailored to the individual features of each site, allowing firefighters to practice evacuation procedures and responses to emergency situations. More information about the exercises carried out in 2024 can be found at: Polenergia Supports State and Volunteer Fire Services – ESG Service.

In 2025, Polenergia continued the program “Support for State and Volunteer Fire Services located near Polenergia Group projects,” the primary objective of which is to equip local emergency services with modern, specialized equipment. Particular emphasis was placed on equipment required for rescue operations at height.

Ensuring the safety of service company employees and personnel responsible for wind turbine operations is of critical importance to Polenergia Group. A key factor contributing to this sense of security is the knowledge that local firefighters are properly trained and equipped to effectively protect health and life in challenging conditions. Moreover, the knowledge and equipment provided to fire service units are also used to safeguard local communities during other emergency incidents.

In addition, in 2025 Polenergia allocated funds to equip State and Volunteer Fire Service units with essential rescue equipment and specialized personal protective gear. The support included, among others, the purchase of power generators, helmet-mounted flashlights, technical protective gloves, firefighting helmets, and equipment for high-angle rescue operations. Funding was also provided for the purchase of sludge pumps, structural and station uniforms, and protective footwear. Furthermore, Polenergia contributed to the acquisition of operational vehicles. These initiatives increased the operational readiness of emergency services and improved safety for both firefighters and local communities.

In 2025, Polenergia provided support to 4 units of the State Fire Service and 30 units of the Volunteer Fire Service.
