Employee Engagement at Polenergia Group

The health and well-being of Polenergia Group’s employees are of great importance, and the company undertakes initiatives to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among its workforce at all organizational levels.

Sports Challenge: “POWER UP!”

“POWER UP!” is a sports challenge for companies, managed through a mobile app provided by Activy Ltd. Initiated in 2023 and continued in 2024, the challenge aims to motivate Polenergia employees to engage in physical activity, track their steps, and develop healthy habits, such as cycling or walking to work.

Participants collectively accumulated points that were converted by Polenergia Group into a charitable donation of PLN 30,000.

In 2024, the funds were donated to the association “CukierAsy,” which supports the athletic development of children with type 1 diabetes. Besides the charitable aspect, the challenge boosted employee engagement and fostered teamwork.

The challenge lasted three months, from April to June, and was designed to offer various forms of physical activity suited to individual preferences. Nearly 200 employees participated, earning points by practicing different sports.

Key benefits of the challenge included developing a habit of regular physical activity, fostering participant integration, reducing CO2 emissions through sustainable commuting, and mobilizing the company community to achieve a meaningful charitable goal. Due to the high interest in the initiative, the company plans to continue it. More information: Final of the 2nd Edition of the Sports Challenge POWER UP! – ESG Service
